Rebekah Beeler Babb received a B.A.E. in secondary English and M.Ed. in Educational Psychology. She has twenty-eight years of experience in education as a classroom teacher and counselor in the high school and middle school setting. As an educational consultant, Babb promoted character education in five states for High Road, Inc. She is a National Board Certified Counselor and National Board Certified School Counselor.

Katherine Morgan holds a B.S. degree in Education. Her teaching experience spans twenty plus years in the classroom in grades K-12. She has coached Future Problem Solving and Odyssey of the Mind teams. As a trainer, Morgan conducted staff developments in multiple assessments, character development, and problem solving. She has served as a director of a victim offender reconciliation program and a mediator for a juvenile and general sessions court system.

As a result of Morgan’s work in the court system and Babb’s experiences as a counselor they recognized a need for those having difficulty making wise decisions to gain new decision-making skills. Coauthoring Better Choices materials, they founded KB Problem Solvers Corporation as a provider for educational resources. Better Choices classes began operating through local court systems in 2000.

In a two-year recidivism study within several court systems over 500 participants’ success rates approximately four out of five participants did not re-offend following coursework. The Better Choices program continues to operate and grow in county court systems and receive positive feedback from participants as well as court officials.
